A brief overview of the visualization

The visualization compares Web browsers' market share in different countries across time. Every planet is a browser and every moon orbiting it is a country where the browser has the majority market share. On older machines, it might take a few seconds for the moons to initially appear. The website works in Firefox, Chrome, Safari (desktop) and Opera.  (compatibility table for SVG SMIL animation support)
